Bellona walked the halls of the old windy castle wistfully. She had fought battles here, many centuries ago when Europe was the home of democracy. She had won, mostly due to the fact that the town that used to stand below this castle was leveled by the fist of her powers, of her bloodlust. The castle had been empty since, many claimed it was haunted. They were right of course. No where in the world could that many people die at once and not leave behind a few spirits.

Isabella had wondered away from the temporary camp the Hunters had set up and somehow ended up at the castle. It was amazing. She decided to explore since it looked empty she loved looking at ruins of the past it reminded her of how time changed all things. Magnificent castles like this could end up as ruins. She rubbed her hands up and down her coat covered arms it seemed haunted, she liked that it meant it once held life. She pushed her curly black and blond hair out of her face looking around before deciding to go further into the building.

Bellona shifted slightly where she stood when she felt the presence of another living being within the castle. She stood, eyes closed, in the room at the exact center of the castle. She was surrounded by the spirits of those who had been lost here. She sometimes visited the places where she had caused destruction in the past, listening to the voices of the dead. Sometimes just listening to them would help them move on. After a few minutes, she waved a hand, brushing them away from the moment and turned, striding silently through the castle towards the other person she could feel. She came up behind them slowly, quietly, but not bothering to hide her presence, wondering who besides herself would visit this tomb.

Isabella froze feeling someone coming up behind her, she turned around and frowned at the woman who was there. "Sorry, I didn't realise that anyone was here." She tells her before realising that it was a goddess and falling to her knees bowing to the goddess. "Please forgive my trespass, I didn't know that anyone lived here, please don't punish me I shall leave and never return." Isabella kept her head down hoping that the Goddess wouldn't make the punishment too hard, but she wasn't hopeful her run in with the god caused her to be unable to move for a month because of the punishment of 'being rude'.

Bellona frowned and snorted, "I don't live here. No one does but the dead." She waved a hand to encompass their surroundings. "I just have a sick sort of attachment to the places I've demolished and the people I've killed." She shrugs, talking about death is a casual thing for her. It just happens and she often facilitates it. "Who are you, coming to this place?" She asks, curious. She started to slowly walk a circle around the girl, slowly, methodically, observing. "There hasn't been many humans in this place over the years. With all the dead activity, the mist almost completely hides it from mortals."

"I'm Isabella Winchester, Daughter of Ares, Hunter of Artemis, we have a camp over in the woods on our way to camp." She tells her mulling over what the Goddess had said, she had demolished this place and killed people, she must be a goddess of death or war. Isabella had never net a war Goddess, it was startling how she plainly talked of death. She was a Daughter of Ares but she had never met the man, and the hunters never talked so plainly of death. She wondered if she should stand before deciding that she should stay bowed for a while longer there was no telling what would set of a War Goddess.

Bellona let a smirk stretch across her face. "A hunter? So not quite mortal after all." She let out a rough laugh. "And a daughter of Ares, my oldest friend." The goddess let out a derisive noise, continuing her slow walk and observation of Isabella. "I suppose it would be petty to let my experience with your father color my actions toward you." She mused. "And Artemis does get so touchy about her hunters." Her face scrunched up on thought. "But do I care?" She asked the air absently before shaking her head, "Not really." She glanced down at Isabella. "But I'm turning over a new leaf. I suppose I could try to behave." She leaned against the sill of a nearby window, finally stopping her circling, eyes trained on Isabella.
"What brings you here girl? What called you from the safety of your camp to this place of death?"

Isabelle cursed herself mentally, she should have known nothing good would come out of visiting ruins, she thought for a moment before replying. "It's beautiful." She finally said, straightening up, either way the woman seemed to be going to punish her and she would not just said bowed if the Goddess would punish her anyway. "It's beautiful and sad, there is memories here of generations of people and has been left to rot, I find it beautiful in the ruins and history but sad that it has just been abandoned to it's fate, so much time and effort had been put into making it and I find it tragic that they would just abandon it because of ghosts, which are everywhere and encompass everything." She finally looks at the Goddess unable to help but blush and the site of her she was stunning, and Isabelle didn't say that often, she looked away from the goddess trying to get her blushing under control it was so unbecoming of her.

Bellona was absently cleaning dirt out from under her nails, listening with half an ear. "Beautiful perhaps, but beautiful maybe because it is sad." She shifted away from the window, looking back in the direction she came, into the dark thoughtfully. "Sometimes what is lost to us becomes the most beautiful thing we can imagine because we can't have it. We can no longer see it's imperfections." She shrugged, "Or perhaps people just don't like to be reminded of what they lost." She started walking back in the direction she came from, back to her ghosts. "Perhaps once the spirits have all moved on, people will come back." She threw out as she continued down the hall. "Or maybe I'll move in. I've spent enough time keeping this place together."

"I have taken up to much of your time already, I will take my leave now." She tells her, moving away slowly, hoping that the goddess would just let her go. "It was a pleasure meeting you." She says as she turns and walks away, the goddess unnerving her, she was so different to what she was used to. Either the God or Goddess was nice like Artemis and Apollo or downright evil like Chaos and Tartarus. Bellona was different she was neutral which shocked her but she was glad that she had not been punished she didn’t think she was up to being punished again. She could still remember the horror of last time.

Bellona paused and slowly turned to watch her walk away, a slight smile on her face. "Leaving alright? Don't tell me I scared you, daughter of Ares, hunter of Artemis. Going to scurry back to your camp where your patron can protect you?" She huffed a small, amused laugh. "In my day, the children of war, even daughters, weren't allowed to be fearful." She turned back around and continued walking, "I suppose time has changed things. Give Artemis my regards, would you? My dear half sister and I disagree on many things, but on one very important subject, we agree. Fearfulness is not a habit something suited to woman."

Isabella felt her mouth turn down in the corners and her hands ball into fists. "I am not scared, I just respect the power that you can wield over demigods and am not in the mood to be unable to move for weeks on end." She tells her without turning around, wincing slightly as she thought about her punishment. "I do apologise for being fearful, it is not something that I can control and have been this way for the last 200 years and I will probably be like this for 200 more years I apologise that I am not up too your fearless standards. Lady Artemis knows what I am like and respects that I am unable to control it. I shall Lady Artemis when I see her next."
